I’m Tereza Rafoth, founder and principal crafter of SPARK.TOURS. Guiding is my passion, and when I create my story-driven tours, the researching, designing, and connecting with people charge me with energy and meaning. Then, sharing tours with you is a real joy.

I believe tours are laboratories for inspiration. They should engage you. They should ignite you. Imagine feeling inspired by history retold in today’s language. Imagine encountering Czech art, and then shaking hands with the artist. Imagine embracing newly found relatives after a detective-like ancestral search.
Tereza Rafoth is a licensed Prague guide with 20+ years of experience. She speaks Czech, English and German with native-proficiency. She grew up in the Czech glassmaking region known as Crystal Valley and earned a Master’s degrees in Journalism, German, and Czech Language & Literature at Masaryk University in Brno. Her work has taken her beyond the Czech Republic when she lived and worked in the United States as a producer. Later, she curated a multimedia exhibition for the Hartmanice Mountain Synagogue. Tereza connects people through history and the arts. She founded "Footprints in the Landscape", a non-profit that brings cultural education outdoors. She also organizes the annual "Festival of Karolina Světlá"- an immersive mix of literature, theatre, dance, and music honoring a pioneering 19th-century female Czech writer. Today, she wears many hats: town hall community builder, tour guide, travel planner, project manager, educator, and mother.
